 Kadasha Hershey, Program Associate
Kadasha supports the Alliance’s capacity-building programs, member engagement, and convenings. She joined the Alliance in 2023 as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Kadasha holds a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University, with a concentration in Community, Administration, and Policy Practice. She is enthusiastic about macro social work and applying its core principles — like social justice and the importance of human relationships — to systems-level work. Kadasha previously worked with the Northwest Xcelerator, a start-up climate tech business accelerator for Black entrepreneurs in the Pacific Northwest, where she focused on organizational and grant management.
