Thriving Networks ProgramWe provide housing and community development associations with training, peer sharing, and technical assistance through our Thriving Networks Program. The program fills a crucial gap in the field by addressing the specific needs and challenges of associations. In 2023, we provided over 2,300 hours of direct service to our members. This includes one-on-one assistance from Alliance staff, trainings and peer-learning opportunities at our National Summit and Regional Caucuses, and presentations at Alliance members’ conferences and events. Thriving Networks AssessmentsWe offer Thriving Network Assessments as a paid service to help community development associations strategically improve their impact and effectiveness. We work with the association's key staff and board members to strategically plan for greater impact by assessing 12 areas of organizational activities. Through that assessment, we identify organizational strengths and ways to prioritize resources, address challenges, and prioritize what really matters to their network. Regional ConveningsShown above: The Eastern Caucus convened at the HomeFront Family Preservation Center in Ewing, New Jersey. Midwest Caucus members met with the Rondo Community Land Trust at a neighborhood coffeehouse in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Western Caucus engaged in two days of peer learning and toured affordable housing in Phoenix, Arizona. Southern Caucus members shared a meal together after our National Summit in Atlanta, Georgia.
